Shereen: They think we're Arab. When did Persian become Arab

Persona -1966

The Doctor: Life trickles in from the outside, and you're forced to react. No one asks if it is true or false, if you're genuine or just a sham. Such things matter only in the theatre, and hardly there either

Cries and Whispers -1972

Anna: [reading Agnes' journal entry] "Wednesday the third of September-- The tang of autumn fills the clear still air but it's mild and fine. My sisters, Karin and Maria have come to see me. It's wonderful to be together again like in the old days, and I am feeling much better. We were even able to go for a little walk together. Such an event for me, especially since I haven't been out of doors for so long. Suddenly we began to laugh and run toward the old swing that we hadn't seen since we were children. We sat in it like three good little sisters and Anna pushed us, slowly and gently. All my aches and pains were gone. The people I am most fond of in all the world were with me. I could hear their chatting around me. I could feel the presence of their bodies, the warmth of their hands. I wanted to hold the moment fast and thought, "Come what may, this is happiness. I cannot wish for anything better. Now, for a few minutes, I can experience perfection. And I feel profoundly grateful to my life, which gives me so much

Crash - 2004

Graham: It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something

Kim: Before he came down here, it never snowed. And afterwards, it did. I don't think it would be snowing now if he weren't still up there. Sometimes you can still catch me dancing in it

Lost in Translation -2003

Charlotte: 25 years. That's uh, well it's impressive
Bob: Well you figure, you sleep one-third of your life, that knocks out eight years of marriage right there. So you're, y'know, down to 16 in change. You know you're just a teenager, at marriage, you can drive it but there's still the occasional accident

Charlotte: I'm stuck. Does it get easier
Bob: No
[Charlotte looks at Bob.]
Bob: Yes. It gets easier
Charlotte: Oh, yeah
Look at you
Bob: Thanks
[Chuckles]
Bob: You'll figure that out. The more you know who you are, and what you want, the less you let things upset you

Charlotte: What about marriage? Dose it get easier
Bob: That's hard
We used to have a lot of fun. Lydia would come with me when I made the movies, and we would laugh about it all. Now she doesn't want to leave the kids, and…
She doesn't... need me to be there

Doctor: well, what's… what's mine, then
Bess: I don't know. Haven't you found yet
Doctor: I see. And what's your talent, then, Bess? Because, um… oh, surely it can't be being screwed by men you've never seen before
Bess: I can believe
